This SMS Privacy Policy Addendum supplements our main Privacy Policy and specifically addresses how we handle information related to our SMS text messaging program.

Important Privacy Protection:

In accordance with CTIA guidelines, DCIT LLC will NOT share your mobile phone number or any SMS-related information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is strictly protected and used only for providing our services to you.

Limited Sharing for Service Delivery

We may share your mobile information only with:

  • SMS Service Providers: We work with trusted SMS platform providers (such as Twilio) to deliver text messages. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide SMS services on our behalf.
  • Customer Service Partners: If we use third-party customer service providers, they may have access to your phone number solely to assist with your service requests.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.

Data Retention

We retain your mobile phone number and SMS consent records for as long as you remain opted in to our program, plus any additional period required by law (typically 4 years for TCPA compliance). If you opt out, we maintain your opt-out record indefinitely to ensure we don't send you unwanted messages.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP
  • Request information about the data we have collected about you
  • Request deletion of your mobile information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Update your mobile phone number or preferences

Children's Privacy
